// Our Story
Epicenter Management, Inc. was founded in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, not as a theory, but as a necessity.
Launched in 2020 amidst a global crisis, the firm’s first engagement involved overseeing the aggressive scale-up of a national disaster response client. With operations spanning dozens of U.S. states and coordination across high-level federal agencies, the stakes were immediate: critical infrastructure, executive leadership under pressure, and lives on the line.
What started as an urgent response to help stabilize and lead through chaos evolved into a specialized advisory practice focused on helping organizations navigate complexity—especially at the board and executive level. From those early, high-stakes origins, Epicenter Management has remained grounded in one core principle: leadership in uncertain times demands structure, clarity, and action.
Founded by Christopher Tarantino—an award-winning entrepreneur and board leader with deep experience in crisis leadership, organizational culture, and strategic operations—the firm exists to unlock the value already sitting around the table. Whether building out new advisory boards or recalibrating executive strategy, Epicenter Management works with leaders who are ready to get serious about governance, performance, and sustainable growth.
Today, we support startups, holding companies, and mission-driven organizations who know they need more from their leadership teams—and their boards—but aren’t sure how to unlock that potential. We don’t deal in slide decks or vanity titles. We focus on results, resilience, and the systems that make both repeatable.
